Operation in CDMX Against the Sinaloa Cartel

In a security operation in Mexico City, four individuals linked to the Sinaloa cartel were arrested, and drugs and weapons were seized. Authorities conducted searches in Iztacalco and Xochimilco, highlighting the coordination among security forces.


Operation in CDMX Against the Sinaloa Cartel

Operations were carried out in two locations in Mexico City where drug storage and packaging were suspected. The agents acted without violence and respected police protocol. In Xochimilco, two locations were found used for this purpose.

In Iztacalco, a 27-year-old woman was arrested, and 100 doses of methamphetamine were seized. Additionally, 100 doses of cocaine, 41 doses of marijuana, and 2 kilograms of this substance were secured. During the operation in Xochimilco, two short firearms, cell phones, identity documents, and more were confiscated.

Pablo Vázquez Camacho, Secretary of Citizen Security of Mexico City, mentioned that the detained individuals could belong to a cell linked to the Sinaloa cartel. Search warrants were executed in Iztacalco and Xochimilco.

Authorities reported that four people related to the Sinaloa cartel were arrested, and a total of 207 doses of cocaine and 153 doses of marijuana were seized. In Xochimilco, three people were arrested during the operation.

Simultaneously, three people were arrested at a location in Xochimilco: two men aged 21 and 49, and a 43-year-old woman. Another arrest took place in Iztacalco.
